Marley & Me
I read the book a couple of years ago and bawled like a baby, so I knew I had to go see the movie. Jeremy is spending a few days with his Aunt Alison, Uncle Scott and cousins Ben & Emily, so Joe and I had a rare date night. He offered a movie and I jumped at the chance to see Marley. Two words..... Bring Tissues. Ok, four words.... Bring LOTS of Tissues. And I'm the girl that always laughed at my mom (& brother!) for crying during movies. But, you throw a dog in there, and I'm spent. Seriously, if you're a dog lover, go watch it. Or even if you're not, you will be. Joe even used is standard line, "someone must have had a cat in there" to explain his waterworks reaction.

we are going to marley & me tomorrow night on a GROUP date! i am a little worried. i am FAR from an attractive crier AND having just finished the book (on christmas day) i know it will be unavoidable.
I don't generally cry at movies and I was not crying very pretty myself. I was close to hysterical in fact!
ooh... worried here too.
i'm half-way thru the book.
not sure about the public cry.
I am UBER dog sensitive. There is a Purina dog food commercial that makes me hysterical. I can take just about anything in movies and not cry, but you put an old dog on a screen and I'm done.
Thanks for the warning! We have one single screen theatre in town, so we usually have to wait awhile for new releases. But when it gets here, I will bring my box of kleenex!
p.s. - how fun to see more of your pics here; I'm loving 365!
Me too, thanks Shannon, I enjoyed checking out your blog too!
i really enjoyed this movie, too. crying and all. it's ok to let a few fall every now and again.
I love all the pictures! :) Jeremy is growing up too fast.
